- Markings are anchored using either sand bags or steel anchors; (Markings may be positioned on the runway numbers or displaced)
- The markers are to be located on top of the runway numerals during closure of the runway.
- If the nature of the construction prevents the markers from being placed on top of the numerals, they are to be located off the runway along the extended runway centerline.
- The markers are to become property of the airport upon completion of the project.
- The markers are to be of a permanent type, constructed of vinyl or other lightweight durable material as manufactured by Neubert Aero Corp. or similar approved equal.
